Bitfury is the largest full-service blockchain technology company in the world that develops and delivers cutting-edge software and hardware solutions necessary for businesses, governments, organizations and individuals to securely move assets across
the blockchain. 

To express the idea of small bits of building blocks working together to create a big change, I used square as a distinctive graphic asset for their logotype and brand expression. The client ultimately decided to go with another direction, but I’m proud to share the strategic thinking and design exploration that went into this concept. 

The Brief

How do we communicate Bitfury as the leader of Blockchain industry?

How do we redefine our brand to express reliability, security & efficiency?

Let’s start with the color yellow.

Proposing that blue is the most common corporate brand color, we introduced yellow as Bitfury’s new brand color. Yellow is not only the most visible color in the spectrum, it is also a signifier of energy, optimism and wealth.



Inspired by well-known brand logotypes.

Final Execution

Bold letters 
show strength 
and security, while the rounded forms convey a
 personable quality.
The B can also work as a standalone icon, the negative space forming a C to also represent “Bitcoin.”
